Some links on this site may be affiliate links to retailers. If you buy through them, Upcoming Gadget may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.
In plain terms
An affiliate link is a normal product link with tracking attached. If you click that link and make a purchase, the retailer may pay a commission to support the site. The price you pay stays the same whether you use an affiliate link or go to the retailer directly.
On Upcoming Gadget, affiliate links may appear in content about phones and gadgets, including smartphone tips, Android and iPhone help, mobile accessories, setup and troubleshooting guides, comparisons, and buying guides.
How that does — and does not — shape this site
I do use affiliate links where they make sense, but commission size is not the reason something is mentioned. Recommendations are based on product specs, likely fit for the intended use, and the common problems people are trying to solve.
Products are not listed as paid placements. If something looks like a poor fit, I say so. That includes cases where a product may be overpriced, missing useful features, or simply not the best option for a particular need.
If you want more detail on how I approach content, you can read the editorial policy and disclaimer.
