Who writes this site

Upcoming Gadget is a one-person site run by me, Jason Cole. I write and maintain the content myself. The site covers smartphone and Android/iPhone tips, mobile accessories such as earbuds, headphones, chargers, power banks, cables, Bluetooth speakers, keyboards, mice, webcams, and USB hubs, along with setup and troubleshooting guides, comparisons, and buying guides.

How articles are made

I start with real questions people search for and try to answer them as clearly as possible. For how-to articles and troubleshooting guides, I check steps, settings, compatibility details, and technical specs against official documentation and manufacturer sources where those details matter. I write the instructions in plain language and keep them step by step so they are easy to follow.

When something can vary by software version, phone model, accessory model, or brand, I call that out in the article instead of presenting one path as universal. I also add screenshots or images only when they make the explanation clearer or reduce confusion.

What this site will not do

  • No paid placements disguised as advice. If affiliate links appear, that does not change how I explain a product or topic. You can read more at affiliate disclosure page.
  • No invented test results. I do not publish made-up performance claims, measurements, or comparisons.
  • No fake reviews. I do not present placeholder opinions or copied claims as firsthand experience.

Updates

Articles are revisited when software, devices, or products change. The Updated date on each article reflects those revisions, so you can see when a page was last checked and refreshed.

Corrections

If you spot an error, you can report it by email at [email protected]. I review correction requests, fix factual mistakes when confirmed, and update the article’s date after the correction is made.
